May 2024 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is honored to have a teacher with the qualities of Ms. Wood. Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are viewed as truly loving their students, seeking their highest good even when the way may be hard.

As one of her nominators wrote: “Ms. Wood hit the ground running in her first-year teaching. Her creative teaching methods and interaction with her students have them excited to attend school each day! She goes above and beyond to help students grasp concepts. Ms. Wood is a huge blessing for St Monica, the students, and the parents!” Another nominator praised her saying “Ms. Wood’s enthusiasm and excitement is refreshing and infectious. My daughter is so excited to be in her class. Every time I see her. My student LOVES school and she is a major reason why.”

Ms. Wood is the model of exemplary teaching. Let’s congratulate her today for her commitment to excellence and her impact on our students. We are excited to celebrate the
