April 2024 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is honored to have a teacher with the qualities of Ms. Foster. Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are viewed as truly loving their students, seeking their highest good even when the way may be hard.

As one of her nominators wrote: “Ms. Foster teaches her class that God made us all equally and to love thy neighbor. There is no question that she promotes equal opportunities for all students in her classroom as she pushes each child to be their best self regardless of their race, economic background, or family situation. She encourages teamwork amongst her students and embraces teamwork with staff creating a partnership rather than a hierarchy. Another nominator praised her saying “Ms. Foster has been a great teacher and role model. The resurrection story was taught in a beautiful way that the kids could understand and repeat. She makes sure to include parents and keeps us involved in what the kids are learning.”

Ms. Foster is the model of exemplary teaching. Let’s congratulate her today for her commitment to excellence and impact on our students. We are excited to celebrate the wonderful and positive contributions that she is making at our school.
