National Junior Honor Society (6-8)

The St. Monica Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an organization to develop enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, promote leadership, develop character, and encourage good citizenship. Membership is by invitation only and is based on maintaining a 94 cumulative grade point average while in grades 6, 7, and 8. Students must have been enrolled at St. Monica for at least one semester to be eligible.
 
Part of the chapter’s community service this year is to help with the morning safety patrol, volunteer for Autumnfest events, and assist as school ambassadors. Other projects will be unveiled throughout the year.
