Students are admitted to St. Monica Catholic School based on the following criteria:

Principal/Director Recommendation (if applicable)

3's class - must be 3 by September 1 and potty trained
4’s class – must be 4 by September 1 and potty trained
Kindergarten - 5th Grade Admission Criteria

1st Grade candidates must be 6 years old by September 1
After academic eligibility is confirmed and all information is received, the Admissions Committee determines the admission of new students to St. Monica Catholic School.
6th - 8th Grade Admission Criteria
Students are admitted to St. Monica Catholic School based on the following criteria:
Completed application with required documentation
Family Interview
Screening/Placement Test
Principal Recommendation
Math Teacher Recommendation
English Teacher Recommendation

After academic eligibility is confirmed and all information is received, the Admissions Committee determines the admission of new students to St. Monica Catholic School.
Prospective students shall receive priority in the admission process using the following guidelines:
PARISH TUITION FAMILY in “good standing” with a sibling presently in the school.
FAMILIES WITH A SIBLING presently in the school.
A PARISH TITHING FAMILY in “good standing” who is a new applicant to the school and has completed the registration process, with the longest tithing parishioner in “good standing” given priority.
CATHOLIC SCHOOL TRANSFER STUDENTS whose families are in “good standing” at their previous school/parish and have completed the registration process and are deemed eligible.
A NON-PARISH TUITION FAMILY that is current with respect to all financial commitments at their home parish and/or previous school.
Has a parent or sibling who graduated from St. Monica Catholic School.
New applicant to school who has completed the registration process. In the event that two or more families fall under this category, a random drawing will be held to determine the priority of admission.
NON-CATHOLIC TUITION FAMILY that is current with respect to all financial commitments at their home church and/or previous school.
