What is the maximum class size?
3K –36 students (2 classes of 18) 4K – 54 students (3 classes of 18) Developmental Kindergarten (DK) – 20 students
Kindergarten – 8th grade, classrooms of 20 maximum, 80 students per grade
At what age is my child eligible for St. Monica?
3’s class – must be 3 by September 1st and potty trained
4’s class – must be 4 by September 1st and potty trained
DK – must be 5 by December 31st
K – must be 5 by September 1st
1st grade - must be 6 by September 1st
Do we need to be catholic to attend St. Monica?
No, we welcome all students to apply and attend St. Monica
Do St. Monica students attend Mass?
Yes, Preschool students attend Mass on Mondays. DK starts in October and 4K starts in December. K-2 attends Mass every Monday at 8 AM, 3-5 attend Mass every Tuesday at 8 AM. 6-8 attend Mass every Friday at 8 am. All school Masses are reserved for Holy Days of Obligation and other special occasions. We welcome parents to join us at all masses.
Yes, we have it available for three age groups, Preschool, Grades K – 4 & Grades 5 – 8. Hours begin at 7 AM for early drop-off and after school hours are from school release until 6 PM. Students must to be registered for after school care.

Yes, students wear an official school uniform. A used uniform sale is held each year in August right before the start of the school year. The official uniform supplier is Risse Brothers.
Does St. Monica have sports?
Yes, starting in the 5th grade students can choose to participate in school-sponsored sports, through the Dallas Parochial League.
Before the 5th grade, many St. Monica Bearcats teams are formed through Semones YMCA.
