MATHCOUNTS is a national math coaching and competition program that increases enthusiasm for achievment in middle school mathematics throughout the United States. (check out the National MathCounts wepage) MathCounts is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with a love of mathematics. This year we will combine efforts as part of the new Competitive Math Club preparing for all math competitions including MathCounts, PSIA, and St. Pat's Academic Fair. Meetings will be held on Fridays during lunch and on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45 in room C-24. The regional math competition will be on February 16 at SMU. Bring your lunch or a snack and come check out the fun of mathematics!! Moderators are Mrs. Yung, Mrs. Beck, and Mrs. Harris. |
