Ms. Wedberg's Biography Hello, everyone! My name is Bridget Wedberg, and I have been teaching for about as long as I could talk! St. Monica's will be my second school in the Diocese of Dallas, and before that I taught Language Arts in Sanger, Texas. This year, I am excited to be teaching seventh grade Language Arts, sixth grade Religion, coaching sixth grade volleyball, and helping with the Friday morning masses! Whew--it's going to be a fun and busy year! I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but spent much of my youth in Flower Mound, although don't call me a Texan to my face! I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in English and a focus on Secondary Education, receiving my certification in middle school Language Arts. My wonderful family consists of my parents, James and Mary Beth, and my three sisters: Elizabeth and Sara, my twin older sisters; and Meaghan, who plays volleyball at the University of Central Oklahoma. I also have an extremely furry and lazy Himalayan cat, Margot. In my free time (which won't be much this year!), I like to stay active by running around White Rock, playing softball and volleyball in various leagues, and catching up on my reading. I'm also constantly trying new things--this summer's new interest was grilling and jewelry-making! Hope everyone had a great summer and I'm glad to meet you! Ms. Wedberg
