Big Congratulations to McGilley Simons!! The poem she wrote was selected as one of the 60 finalist out of 2,263 in the Youth Poetry Competition! 

Happenings this week: 

Homework 5-12

Spelling: write six sentences in cursive using at least one spelling word in each.

Math: wkbk pages  

Reading:  (Poetry Week)--we will learn how to write a different poem each day and then Friday they will pick their favorite  they've learned and write their own poem for a grade.

Brown Reader:

Social Studies: 

Test week of 5-12

Reading: write your own poem for test grade on Friday

Religion: Ch 19 Friday

Spelling: Friday

Social Studies: Unit 6 Friday

Math: 

**Don't forget to send a small snack and water bottle with your child to school each day.

If your child tends to be cold, please allow them to leave a SMS sweatshirt in their cubby because our classroom will stay cold.

Tuesday is our Mass day at 8:00.  Please have your child at school by 7:45 that day, we leave our classroom about 7:50 to walk to church.
