All students in grades K-5 must have a signed AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) form for technology in order to use the Internet at school.

Keyboarding – Grades 3-5

I recommend that ALL students in grades 3-5 practice their typing. If students practice their typing 10-15 minutes a day, their typing speed WILL improve.

Why should students learn to type?

• Students can save hours in each day if they can type using all ten fingers.
• Students can enter their thoughts and ideas straight into the computer if they can type as fast as they think.
• Students can use the computer for non-game applications, such as word processing software with confidence.
