Virginia Muenchrath's Biography Mrs. Muenchrath was born and raised on a small farm in Iowa. She went on to attend college at The College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Her minors were in Science and History. She has taught in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and now in Texas. She is married to Ron Muenchrath, also from Iowa. They have three children. Ann, their oldest, is married to Joel Hurley and lives in Dallas. Jeff, their oldest son, is in the Navy and stationed in San Diego. He just recently got engaged. Mark, their youngest son, is a Senior at U.T. in Austin. Her interests include travelling, reading, sewing, gardening, and going for walks. She just moved to Texas a year ago. The best part of living in Dallas is being close to her children and the mild winters. Mrs. Muenchrath taught 6th and 8th grade science last year. This year she switched to 6th and 7th grade science. She loves life science and is looking forward to working in that area. She will not be posting daily assignments on her website. However, she would like you to watch for tests and projects that will be posted. Chapter tests will be given every two to three weeks. She is looking forward to an exciting year! |
