Mr. Hood's Biography

This is my 5th year at St. Monica and I am really enjoying the experience. I have a degree from The University of Texas at Austin. I have taught Math, Science, Health, Grammar, Technology and Video Production. I have taught at the 5th grade level for 2 years. I have taught Technology to 6th and 7th grade the last 2 years. In addition to teaching, I am the Athletic Director for the school. We have an excellent athletic program and I encourage everyone to particpate.

Prior to teaching, I spent over 15 years in the Operations business. During this time, I developed a love for teaching and training individuals. I have enjoyed helping others to make improvements in their lives and to learn more about technology. I am thrilled to now have the chance to teach young men and women to do the same.

I am excited to be part of this great staff and to have the opportunity to help educate your children. As a parent of 2 current St. Monica students, I realize the importance of your child's education and over all experience.
