Serving as the principal of St. Monica School is challenging, enriching and exciting.  I appreciate the opportunity I have been given to serve this community and to provide leadership to the faculty and the students of such an excellent parish school.

My husband, Jim, and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in August 2007.  We have three grown children. (That means that the tuition payments have finally stopped!)  Our oldest two children, Deana and James, are married and have blessed us with nine grandchildren.  Our youngest son, Kevin,  married in May 2005.

Jim is a twenty-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  The military life was rewarding for our family and provided us with the opportunity of a variety of enriching experiences that took us to seven different states and two European countries.

It was during these years that I began my teaching career, first teaching math to military personnel, and then eventually choosing to teach middle school students.  We moved to the Dallas area in 1984.  I taught at Good Shepherd Catholic School in Garland for 14 years before coming to St. Monica in 1998.

St. Monica School is a fantastic place to work, study, and learn.  I appreciate the trust and kindness extended to me by the faculty, students, and the school community over the past six years. I look forward to the future and the work that needs to be done as we all continue to work together to ensure a successful educational experience for each child under our care.
