About Mrs. Cleaveland My name is Lauren Cleaveland and I am very excited about having your precious children in my class this year! I am a native Dallasite and a graduate of Southern Methodist University. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten endorsement as well as ESL certification. I taught for 12 years in Highland Park and 6 years in DISD. This marks my 7th year at St. Monica. This is a milestone year for me as I approach my 25th year of teaching. I have six children; five are in college, and our youngest is in his Junior year at Jesuit. My husband is a resort home builder in Vail, Colorado. We do lots of traveling back and forth during the year. I know this will be a great year with lots of growth and learning. I look forward to being a part of your child's life and getting to know each family in my class. Children grow up so fast and this is a magical time in your child's development. One not to rush, but one to cherish and watch in amazement! St. Monica is a wonderful place to grow and learn. We're going to have a terrific year! |
