Mrs. Beck's Biography

     Hello! My name is Mrs. Beck. I am thrilled to be teaching 6th and 7th grade math at St. Monica this year. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin (go Horns!) with BBA and MBA degrees in business administration. My concentration was in systems accounting.  While in graduate school I taught undergraduate business programming. After graduation I worked several years as a systems consultant with a large public accounting firm and as a systems development analyst with Santa Fe Minerals, Inc.

I began my teaching career in October 2001 at St. Monica, teaching 5th grade math, science and religion. After teaching 5th grade for 5 years. This will be my second year teaching 6th and 7th grade math with my middle school math partner, Mrs. Harris. We have many fun, challenging and enriching activities planned for the middle school math students this next year.
