Have you made your commitment yet?

The SCRIP Assessment Fee for the 2007 - 2008 school year is $200. The School Advisory Council requires that each family read and sign the Annual Participation Agreement. Families may choose to either pay the $200 obligatory fee or participate in the SCRIP Program.

Why should I buy SCRIP?

  • SCRIP is a smart way to save your family the $200 obligatory fee
  • SCRIP helps to keep our tuitions low.

How do I earn $200 by purchasing SCRIP?

The St. Monica SCRIP program purchases gift cards from merchants at a discount. Discounts range from 1% - 20%. Family profits are based on these discounts.

For example, if you buy Chili's $20 gift card with an 11% discount, you earn $2.20 towards your $200.

The Family Profit Summary is posted on the website at the beginning of every month detailing participating families profits through the previous month. Each family has a unique 'family number' identifying their total SCRIP purchase and % profits to date.

Should families purchase SCRIP if they opted to pay the $200 obligatoray fee? Or if they have already met their $200 profit?

You bet! Remember, the School Advisory Council uses all profits generated from SCRIP to keep tuition costs down.
