Safety Patrol St. Monica Safety Patrol is an opportunity for students to give back to their school community by helping others. Safety Patrol is responsible for helping with morning drop off in the front of the school each day. They help to keep cars moving and assist younger children in getting out of their cars. Students in 5th grade may apply to serve in the St. Monica Safety Patrol Program. Safety Patrols are selected on the basis of satisfactory academic grades, character and citizenship. Duties are from 7:35 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. for morning drop off and occasional after-school meetings may be required. Students applying for the program should consider the responsibility of the Safety Patrol position; should be a good role model; should be reliable; and, willing to make a commitment to fulfill all the duties in a mature and responsible manner. Any member who does not maintain these standards may be put on probation or lose the privilege of working in the St. Monica Safety Patrol Program. Before a student is considered for a safety patrol position, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
