WHAT WE WILL DO NEXT WEEK:

We are going to learn and talk about all kinds of animals – zoo animals, farm animals, wild animals and animals of the Bible.  Please send in any collections and/or books about animals.  If your child has a small caged animal, let them bring it to school one day (if it’s not too much trouble).  Remember CAGED !!!

FOR 4 year old class only:

Kindergarten Roundup is Friday, May 2

By now all of you who are attending St. Monica Kindergarten next year should have received an envelope with Roundup instructions from Ms. Martelik, the school counselor.  If you would like for your child to attend the Roundup, you have some choices:

You may pick up your child from school that day at 11:15am (as usual) and drop her/him off in the Roundup carpool line at 1:00pm and pickup would be at 2:30 at the same location.  Let us know if you are doing that.

     OR

You may leave your child (4 year old class only) with us for the day, (for a $5 fee), and after lunch (which you send with your child), we will walk the children over to the Roundup.  At 2:30pm we will return your child to our own classrooms for pickup in our carpool line at 3:00pm.  If you choose this option, we must have your signed permission form and the color card, so that we know to which Kindergarten classroom your child has been assigned.

We have to know whether you are picking your child up or letting them stay.  Please make sure we know. 

We realize that not all the children will be attending the Roundup, but they are welcome to stay for the entire day.  If you choose to stay, please send a lunch.

Mrs. Bush (President’s wife) and daughter are coming to visit some of the grades at St Monica next Wednesday, April 30.  We do not know all of the precautions we are going to have to take in the name of security.  We will give you further directions (has to do with pick-up) when we know more.

MOMS, MASS AND MUFFINS

On Wednesday, May 7 for 4’s and Thursday, May 8 for 3’s

All Moms are invited to bring your children to Mass and then to our classroom for muffins and entertainment.  We will meet at our classroom to go over to the church at 7:50am. 

If you can’t attend, please send a Grandmother, Aunt, friend, etc.
