THEME FOR NEXT WEEK:  Bears

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

• 4’s – Hayley Wilson
• 3’s – Juliana Acosta

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING NEXT WEEK

We have a variety of activities planned for next week. 

We will read many books about bears

• The Three Bears (of course)
• A Bear for All Seasons ( to talk about our new season – not new weather – just a new season – Ha!)
• Brown Bear, What Do You See? (maybe do some acting with this book). 

We will make a bear out of letter B (using shapes) and many more related activities. 

We will also hear the story of Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors.

NEWS & NOTES

• The students may bring their favorite stuffed bear to school on Thursday for the 3’s and Friday for the 4’s (if don’t have a bear another stuffed animal with be fine).
   
• NO SCHOOL Monday, October 8th
   
• Regarding Birthday Invitations:  The preference is that you pass them out to all the children before or after class during carpool.  If this is not possible, please do not address (put names on the invitations) that way, we can just drop them in the bags.  Thanks!
