Dear Parents,

The preschool year has begun and it’s looking good!  The children are adjusting and beginning to follow our routine.  They are learning what to do in the learning centers, how to work together, how to help, and how to follow directions.  This will be ongoing, but I’ve already seen progress.  Below is the format for  my weekly newsletter.

Pre-K News 3’s & 4’s

THEME FOR NEXT WEEK:  Friends

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK:

WHAT WE'LL BE DOING NEXT WEEK:

We will continue to get used to the daily school routine. We will learn the daily prayers and songs.  We will learn about each other – the ways we are alike and the ways we are different.  We will do this in a variety of ways:  reading stories, mathematical measuring, etc.  We will talk about God making and loving everyone.

NEWS & NOTES:

Blue or red folders will come home with notes and/or papers at least once a week, usually on Thursday for the 3’s and Friday for the 4’s.  Please read the information in the folder and send it back the next day your child is at school.
