Howdy ya’ll!

WESTERN DAY

As you know we’ve been learning about Texas and the old West, and now it’s time to have a real Western Day. On Friday April 11, let your little cowpokes dress Western:  jeans, boots, bandanas, hats, vests, and spurs are okay, but please leave those ole 6-Shooters at home. 

We’ll read some tall Texas tales and sing some songs, and have a cowpoke fashion parade.  Please send some comfortable clothing and shoes, if you think your little cowgirl/cowboy might need to change.

EARTH WEEK & BUGS

Look for some important information about these fun activities coming in April.

KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP

This roundup has nothing to do with Western Day, but mark your calendars for Friday, May 2, 2008, when all incoming St. Monica Kindergartners will be invited to a “Roundup” from 1:00 – 2:30.  More on this later.

MUFFINS & MASS WITH MOMS: 

Mothers, you will not want to miss this lovely event with your child on Tuesday, May 6.

MASS & PHONICS

We would like to thank all of our parents who attend Tuesday Mass with our children.  It really helps to have you there.  We will always be doing Phonics after Mass, and we appreciate the parents who can stay and assist with that.
