updated   ONE ACT PLAY ON FRIDAY, MARCH 26th

Middle School students will performRome & Julia - A Tale of Two Cross-eyed Lovers on Friday evening in the cafeteria. Hors d'oeuvre service (provided by St. Monica's Cooking Class) begins at 6:00 p.m. The show begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.  General admission tickets are $5 and available at the door.

Jeans may be worn on Wednesday for $1 with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Each grade should wear a tshirt for a designated cancer as shown below: 

8th Grade - Pink (Breast Cancer)
7th Grade - Orange (Leukemia)
6th Grade - Black (Melanoma)
5th Grade - Purple (Pancreatic Cancer)
4th Grade - Green (Liver Cancer)
3rd Grade - White (Bone Cancer)

2010 - 2011 TUITION ASSISTANCE FORMS

If you plan to file for Tuition Assistance for the coming school year, the Tuition Assistance Form, a copy of your 1040 Form, and a receipt from the IRS to the Business Manager  are due in the business office no later than April 30th.

Note: If you are applying for Fr Mills Scholarship, the Tuition Assistance Form, a copy of your 1040 Form, and a receipt from the IRS must be submitted to the Business Manager no later than Monday, March 22nd

SCHOLARSHIPS 

ST. PAT'S ACADEMIC FAIR RESULTS

The annual St. Pat's Academic Fair was held last Saturday, March 6th.  1st - 8th grade students from schools in the Diocese of Dallas compete in a variety of academic events including poetry, drawing, spelling, math and geography. The students and their coaches have spent the past several months preparing for their individual events.
 
St. Monica was well represented by our hard working students.

DESTINATION IMAGINATION TEAMS ARE SUCCESSFULL! 

The Destination Imagination Regional Tournament was held last Saturday, March 6th
 

Three 2nd grade Rising Stars teams, 1) The SMS Bearcats, 2) The Texas Bearcats, and the 3) Dallas Wildcats participated and received medals for their hard work.

The 5th/6th grade team, T.W.I.X., received a second place medal!

The 7th/8th grade team, also received a second place medal!

The 3rd grade team, DI Delivery Dudes and Dudettes, received a FIRST PLACE medal, and will be advancing to the state tournament in April.
