REVISED 10.7.2009 Revisions are noted in blue

1. Call the school by 8:30 a.m. on the day of absence

The Diocese of Dallas is requiring a daily absentee report from each school. Please report your child's absence to Mrs. Corbin at 214.351.5688 extension 156 no later than 8:30am on the day of absence.

When reporting your child's illness include the symptoms your child is experiencing, especially flu like symptoms (fever, cough and sore throat).

2. Request homework by 10:30 a.m.
(may be requested on the phone call reporting illness and symptoms)

Call Mrs. Corbin at  214.351.5688 extension 156 to request homework. You may pick it up after school on the cart located outside of Nurse Diane's office (down the C wing by the cafeteria)

3. Child must not be taking fever reducing medicine and must be
fever free for 24 hours before returning to school

Please note that your child must be free of fever for 24 hours before they may return to school. For example -  if they are running a fever at 7 pm in the evening and feel fine at 7 am the next day - they need to stay home from school. This prevents the spread of illness throughout the school.

** Please don't give your child fever reducing medicine such as Tylenol or Advil and send them to school. They won't be able to do their work well and could infect their classmates and teachers.
