8th Grade Social Justice

Adelle W, Candace J, Jack G,  Lisa M, Maddie S, Laura B, Savannah D and Andrea C went to  Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children as part of their Social Justice Project. They dressed up in costume and played Halloween Bingo with some of the children who are hospitalized.

The St. Monica 8th graders brought lots of smiles to the children's faces.  Lisa, Candace and Maddie visited one of the children who was waiting for his doctors and missed the Bingo.  The girls erased his sad face and brought his favorite - a stack of baseball cards so he would not feel left out!  He was thrilled.
